To my ears they sounded really nice; which means that they had a nice mellow sound, weren't fatiguing, had great imaging and soundstage, but I was still suspicious of them. Lately I have been running a PAS3 preamp into a Rotel SS integrated amp. WebMay 27, 2007 · More drivers, move more air with less distortion, and can handle watts. Checkout the concepts. 2 15" woofers will move a lot more air with much less cone movement than 3 8" woofers for the same sound levels. Same with midranges, not a new idea, just good basic design.

Biggest difference between the II & the III's is the mid horn and crossover points.
