The metal walls extend 10 feet into the ground, rooting it to the spot and preventing it from being tipped over. WebHowever if you are using this fortress for fortress purposes, stationing men (and mages) atop the roof is a pretty important thing to do. So while the fortress doesn't have any innate defenses from an aerial assault, it can have men (heroes, mages, etc.) occupying it to repel an attack.
