WebSep 21, 2024 · It is really hard to find a one rod solution. Shorter rods on private boats work well. On cattle boats longer is better. To do both the 6' 8" is a good choice. For depths under 300' mid range rods work well. If fishing deep water high end rods shine. I bought a goofish to see if it was any good and was suprised that it was fishable in under 300'.
