Webb24 dec. 2013 · I wouldn't go with a forward mounted peep sight. It's hard enough lining up front and rear sights at night without guessing where the rear sight is. Not to mention what has already been stated about radius, you get better accuracy the farther the sights are set apart. I have the tech sights on my 10/22 and I like them allot. Webb21 sep. 2016 · The original SKS sights leave a lot to be desired. The notch is small and the sight radius is short, resulting in less than optimal accuracy. This sight extends the sight radius by about 10" allowing much more accurate aiming. Installation is very simple...you will have to remove the rear takedown pin that comes with your rifle.
